It was a long time ago, but back around 2003 or so there was an excellent group operating out of Pegasus Hobbies just a few miles away from campus. Back then, the store had some great terrain, and a gaming room with a bunch of beautifully painted OOP figures lining the walls in glass cases. I'd ask around to see if they're still doing 40k.
Also, while back in the area a few years ago, I checked out a great looking store in the same big parking lot as El Ranchero (the place with terrible-awesome 99 cent margaritas) and Sushi Cruise. The owner seemed really nice, and there was a lot of gaming space, but I can't remember the name of the store. Hopefully he's still in business...

Pegasus still does 40k and they have a great group of employees, I usually get my minis there but haven't had the time to play a game there.

In Montclair there is a store that just re-opened with new Management called Gameology. They are going to be starting up a 40 K Escalation league. Last i saw there where 7 people signed up . And they where going to start at 8 people. It is a pretty nice store. Also there is a GW in ontario that not to far, off the 10. There's always games going on in there.

Here they found real war, but they were not ready for it. They were used to easy victories. This deprived them of flexibility on the one hand, of tenacity on the other. For them, war was merely maneuvers. They have neither cavalry nor skiers, their tanks cannot pass over the snow.- General Zhukov |

I'm the current management at Gameology. We're not doing the Escalation League anymore.
The GW store in Ontario has closed, but my store is still going very strong.
We have games going rather consistently on weekends, now.
