I'm currently working on my third drop pod and have come to the conclusion that I hate painting them. Just hate it. You have to paint each detail 5 times per pod. Unfortunately I have a bit of OCD when it comes to picking out details so I feel the need to paint all of it. Baaaah!!!!!!

I've painted countless rhinos, no problem.
Hammerheads - joyfull
160 orks - tedious but not a real issue
Marines - kinda boring but I'm getting through it.

But that damn last drop pod. Just the thought of what needs to be done to it gets my hackles up.

So what model do you just hate to paint, yet do so anyway because your fielding them?

The roadwheels on any Panzer MkIV variant chassis. Thats 32 tires per vehicle. I wouldn't say I hate it, but it's a chore.

Drop pods are terrible to assemble and paint. Other than that dark eldar wyches just look like gak, spend 10 hours painting them and they still end up looking like crap.

Eldar. I dont know why, perhaps its the rainbow.... I just cant taste it.
