If a unit is on a bike, say a marine,T4 normally is treated as t5, is hit with a str 8 ap 3 weapon do they get a feel no pain roll if they have it. The reason i ask is because the insta death rules say that the +1 to toughness does not work but feel no pain says that it works unless the hit is double their toughness, which is 5. So in this case would the marine get a feel no pain save vs a str 8 hit.

A strength 8 hit on Toughness 4(5) model will inflict instant death. Feels No Pain states that it doesn't work against instant death.

AS above - instant death negates FNP, not double toughness.
