GW makes rules first and Models later.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...
Lets settle this in the arena http://pantsformer.mybrute.com

You'll need to make conversions for them. As said GW don't always make models to count for all the codex's units.

This is the irony.

GW are a miniatures company that only produce rules in order to sell miniatures.
So they make rules for miniatures they don't make so as to not sell them.

No wonder they have slid so far.

Ymgarl genestealers are easy.
Use the feeder tendril heads in the box (you only get two of them in a box though, so you'll need a few boxes - but you'll need a few boxes of genestealers anyway)

As for the others, there is a thriving 'nid community out on the nets.
Many of them will have ideas of how to make those nightmare creatures.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

It's not just Tyranids - most Codexes have stats for models that haven't been released. The theory goes - they only make model kits if lots of people would buy them, since the molds are an investment, so therefore if there's a very rare unit, it may not receive a kit. The extra units allows for a more diverse army list (more Special Characters, rare units, special stuff) so you woudn't want to REMOVE them from the Codex just because there's no model, and so this gives people the opportunity to convert the model from other kits, which is of course a really popular part of the hobby.

It's a bit flawed, and sometimes they miss a trick by putting a unit in with AMAZING rules, that everyone would buy, and then not releasing a model for it (see Blood Angels Stormraven).

So yes, you need to convert these models if you want to use them. If you want ideas, try google image searching something like "Tyranid Tervigon conversion" - there's a lot out there...

Some of the easier conversions:
Doom; Just use a Zoanthrope, and maybe base him really well. He is nothing more than a really special Zoanthrope anyways

Parasite: Just a Gargoyle model with Sything Talons instead of a fleshborer; but you will also need several bases of Ripper swarms so this model alone gets pricey do to its rules.

Ymgarl: as said just use standard 'stealers with the feeder tendril heads; you can just have the Few heads in the unit at first and slowly build up to all feeder-heads as you get more stealer boxes, just be sure to never have any feeder-head-stealers in any standard 'stealer units and you should be fine.

Some More moderate conversions:
Shrikes: these are just tyranid warriors with wings, there are several companies on the net that make wings that will fit warriors, or you can "green-stuff"(2-part modeling epoxy, kind of a clay-like material) some wings from a spare set of sything talons(especially if you upgrade the Shrikes to have rending claws).

The Swarmlord: just take a regular Hive tyrant and give it 4 boneswords. making the bonesabres(the swarmlord boneswords) can be easy by shaving down extra sprue-bits; although it may not look as good unless you have some skill at whittling.

The major conversions:
For the remaining models, just follow ArbitorIan's advice and Google search how to convert those models it goes really in depth to the point I cannot describe it here accurately(I am not currently a tyranid player and have never converted those models, as they were not available when I was one).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

You're so confused you can't spell confused right? LOL that makes sence.

On-topic. Yes, you will need to make conversions. Probably, GW or FW will release models for these one day.

I'm dyslexic and I am able to use proper grammar, punctuation and capitalization.

Probably the easiest way to go with conversions is find a creature that is close to the special one (Doom = Lictor) and use that as a basis.

Doom of Malan'tai is a Zoanthrope, not a Lictor.
