They roll against the WS skill of the walker as usual.

actually that isn't normal.

That only happens if the walker is immobilised.

The reason im confused is the 4th edition apoc rules dont make it very clear.

Since there is nothing in the Apoc book telling you otherwise you roll for them as you would any other walker(in any given damaged or undamaged state)

so 6 to hit an undamaged super heavy walker as it is moving about trying to bat you away; and WS Comparison to a SHW that has driver Stunned, or enough drive damaged results to immobilize it.

Although the above is a logical extension of the Walker v Grenade rules; technically you only go by WS after 2 Drive damaged results since Super heavies do not gain a simple "stunned" status.

Also a good thing to note is that the damage must be applied before the start of that assault phase; so if the Walker(super heavy or otherwise) is immobilized do to a higher initiative attack, the grenades will only hit on 6s during that phase. I.E. Fuegan with a unit of Fire dragons; fuegan immobilizes the walker in melee, then the Dragons try to attach melta bombs, the dragons all hit only on 6s.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

It states that SH walkers follow the rules for walkers except where otherwise stated, so 6s as normal until they are immoblised / stunned at the start of the phase.

Cool
Thanks for clearing that up.

And do super heavy walkers get 1+ on the damage table?

Because it says they count as ordnance hits and in 4th that meant +1 right?

No. Ordnance gets no bonus to the damage table. What it did in 4th is irrelevant.
