This might sound silly, but does it say anywhere that the BS of the BSB takes up a hand, thus preventing you from using great weapons and other 2 hand weapons? I'd assume it does, but I can't find anything about it anywhere...


Also, I seem to remember reading that dwarves have some level of magic resistance, but I can't remember where. Have I imagined this?

Your standard bearer and BSB can be equipped with anything as long as the rules allow it. There is mention somewhere that they are more disciplined and trained and can use it despite holding the banner.

Dwarves get a +2 bonus to all dispell rolls just for being dwarves, also their runesmiths and runelords add bonus dispell dice to the pool.

You wouldn't happen to have a page ref. on the dwarf issue, would you? I'm guessing it's somewhere in their book?

p. 51 of the Dwarf army book, the BSB cannot take any extra weapons or a shield. So no great weapon.
