I used to play whfb 3/4 years back and just read the most recent vampire counts book and this dude doesnt seem to be in it now? Even though they use his model in some of the pictures throughout the book

I tend to agree - I still use my Liahmian girls -and wish in vain for a VC book for the non Carstein Vampires.........

I actually had zacharias, and a coven of nechrarchs. I used zombie spam with a couple of big units of skellies. Current army book sent that build packing...
