Saw some 2'x2' plastic modular urban terrain sections linked on dakka while lurking in the past, but I haven't been able to track them down again recently.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah they come in packs for something like $10 a square, not sure where to find them though.

Son can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes...

1.) Guess you mean these: http://www.ziterdes.de/ziterdes/en/produkte/listview.php?catID=69&subcatID=99 (plastic) or these
http://www.miniaturescenery.com/CategoryPage.asp?CODE=CAT_BGND (plywood).

2.) Zuzzy is about to release rubber city mats in all sizes. http://zuzzy-wargame-miniatures.blogspot.com/2010/09/broken-blacktop-sneak-peek.html

3.) Guess you don't mean these upcoming cardboard more medieval sets: http://www.worldworksgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=114423#114423 (they also have modern and SciFi-pdfs)

I am not aware of others currently.

Thanks Kroothawk. I think that Australian plywood system is what I saw previously. Those are all great links though.

It's MDF, not plywood.
The two products are in no way similar.

That said, their urban and city grounds sets are very nice, and I use a city grounds + city levels set in my Infinity games.

If you were after the CNC (miniature scenery stuff) you might be able to get it cheaper from online dealers (I've seen the City grounds set for around $85 or so AUD compared to $100-110 AUD direct from them)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Well, both are made of wood and glue, plywood uses wood sheets and MDF only wood fibres, so there ARE similarities.
