How exactly does the Flee get resolved?

Lets say a I have Reavers sitting 8" from some Khorne Warriors (Frenzy) and they declare a charge. I elect to flee. Lets say I roll really bad and get a 5 for distance. I would now be 13" from the Warriors.

Do they need 9+ to catch me or just 5+ to catch me? I'm assuming you would add the initial gap of 8" to the distance the warriors would HAVE to go to catch them (it also makes sense) as if I turn to flee from a charger that distance gap should benefit me somehow.

On the perfumed wind

The Chaos Warriors must reach your final position in order to wipe you out. So perform your flee maneuver, (chargers have the option to test Ld to attempt a redirect, but we'll assume they don't in this case), then roll the charge distance. If that distance is sufficient to catch the fleeing unit it is wiped out. If not, failed charge.

So in your example, if the Reavers fled to 13" away from the warriors, they would be destroyed by a 13" charge (i.e. 9+ on the 2D6).

You're getting confused between flee and breaking from combat. Breaking from combat they only have to equal or beat your dice roll. Fleeing they have to reach your actual final position

Okay, that's what I thought. Just wanting to make sure.
