Can units that are forced to declare a charge due to Siren Song DG test to restrain the charge?
I'm to assume they can (which kind of makes that gift worthless) but at the same time the wording makes it appear as if the unit MUST charge or flee without being able to test to restrain.

I don't understand why they'd be permitted to restrain the charge. That's a mechanic associated with Frenzy, but has no bearing on the demonic gift...

No, they may not. Restrain only is an option for Frenzied units; SS is NOT Frenzy (as you can flee instead of charging) and you may only do exactly what it tells you: flee or charge. If you cannot flee you MUST charge
