So I keep seeing droves of the plastic epic stompas for cheap on ebay, etc. and am curious if they might be given some new life as "cyb-grots" or "mega-grots" with some grot head swaps onto them maybe to use as a funny/light-hearted "counts as" cyborks, in a mek themed army etc.

I think i have even seen someone do this kit-bash before but I can't find any pics.

They would certainly make very easy armoured grot models (regardless of what they'd count as), without even being converted - they're the right size to hide a grot inside, like some sort of mini-Kan.

Only one pose though, so some head/arm swaps would add a lot more visual variety.

No idea on scale, but Mega-Armoured Grotz sounds good to me.
