I've never tried to build a competitive list in my life, nor do I play blood angels. I'm trying to make a competitive or semi-competitive list for my friend whom ive introduced into the hobby and winning is somewhat more important for him then it is for me. I entreat the members of dakka for help in this endeavor.

Feel free to shred it, any help is immensely appreciated.

My only issue with this list is it is a little lacking vs armor. Adding a PF to each assault squad will help a bit, but you def need a little more anti-armour, possibly a BAAL Pred? or an AO/Las Pred to help a bit.

I would make those land speeders have heavy flamers and multimeltas. Would either drop honor guard or give them special weapons like meltas.

Like said, lacking in Anti Armor.

Oh and you definitely want to throw a jump pack on your libby if you have the points, so he can keep up with the rest of the army.

I think I'm doing something wrong, but the Baal pred doesn't seem to have anything to take on anti-armor unless you mean the Assault cannon. AC's are alright for transport duty, but I've never found them to be reliable against armor.

I was thinking about the flamethrowers being dropped for meltas but wouldnt that make them even less able against horde?

EDIT: Forgot about the Libbys pack, thank you for bringing that up. No second priest and put the Honor Guard in a pod and have the rest of the army come in around it with the beacon?
