I've wondering for a while now if their any DA who have change thier evil ways to be apart of Eldar society.

Or are they all too scared of what happens to them if they die?

I mean some DE would have thought thier has to be better things then raiding and pillaging planets.

That can't all be crazy sadistic killers right?

If they arent crazy sadistic killers, then they're regular eldar. Not dark eldar.

There is an occurance of this in the BL novel "Path of the Warrior" but the individual in quesiton is an Incubi - I have always got the impression from the codexes that the Incubi were slightly different to the "normal" Dark Eldar?

I am not sure if the Dark Eldar soul draining is actually a way of staving of Slaanaesh or they are kidding themselves and its actually just another form of worship where She Who Thirsts merely excepts part of the soul as payment for not draining off the DE soul totally and the more they do it the more she wants as a tribute?

This. The weak ( less ruthless) get stamped out quickly in Commorragh. That also being the only place where they have any semblance of safety from Slaanesh. Couple that with upbringing in such a society where life has little value and brutality is everywhere and power is all that matters. I would find it hard to believe in most dark eldar having the inclination to mend their ways never mind know that there's another way. Because remember these guys tend to be even more elitist than even other eldar. And look down on pretty much all other races with disdain and inferiority.

1) I doubt the Dark Angels consider themselves "Evil", ashamed but not "Evil" and they're already apart from Eldar society, only meeting with a very large amount of force.

2) The DE are scared of what happens when they die, they try to fill Slannesh up on something other then their souls, but Slannesh eats them while they're alive. So they also try to embrace all the pleasures of life and try to please the She Who Thirsts so that she feeds more on their excess and less on their souls.
TL: DR Can't Love, God will Eat me.

3) Some do, its just that their new interests are often quite compatible with those who don't... And I believe that Slaves and Souls comprise the Dual Currency system for Commarghh, so raiding really brings in the income.

4) Grammar aside, no not all of them are; some are crazy sadistic scientists, some are mindless animalistic killers, some are cunning methodical killers, and finally some are frightenly sane highly-discplined killers. However the previous minorities are all dependent on the crazy sadistic killers to maintain the society that enables them to pursue their alternative lifestyles.
