I'm sorry. Just have to say.

I like storm bolters, they're kinda like a SAW.

However, I don't like the fact that a storm bolter doesn't have a way to hold it two handedly.

I mean, sure, a terminator needs both arms free.
but, a sergeant might just have a storm bolter.

When this is the case, I'd love it if the storm bolter could be held in both hands.

Also, question:
If I put two bolters together, are they a storm bolter, or a twin linked bolter?

Aren't they held in two hands?
The terminators are scaled a bit differently which makes the storm bolter a bit smaller. Also I guess if you want to model one like that and you manage to pull it off properly it could just be an old Storm Bolter as that's basically what they are. CSM are basically stuck with the Twin-linked Bolters though.

Sisters of Battle special weapons.

Mind you the second model has a horrible (or at least horribly painted) face, but its weapon is great for a bitz bin.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

They're nothing like a Squad Automatic Weapon. SAWs are used to provide suppression fire. Storm Bolters are simply a pair of bolters. Bolters are more like assault rifles in their utility - they're designed for precision shooting, not suppression fire. A heavy bolter is more akin to a SAW than a boltgun, though the analogue still is not perfect.

It does.

It can be.

Depends. Are you playing Imperium or Chaos? Imperial storm bolters are a pair of bolters strapped together in the fluff. However, Chaos does not have storm bolters - Chaos terminators instead have twin-linked bolters.
