I looking to Get a new army and I'm Liking the Deathwing as a army to use.

I just want to know on what things that make Deathwing good and things that aren't good about them.

I would like adivice on what units my army should mostly comprise of.

Any help will be apreciated

Deathwing Terminators, Deathwing Terminators, and more Deathwing Terminators for a serious business DW army. Anything else included (Land Raiders/Venerable Dreads), is purely for fluff. Basically, the way I do it, is maximize the hell out of Deathwing Assault (DS on first turn). Outfit each termie squad with SB/PF with one AC/CF guy in the squad. Keep the seargeant with his PW/SB to maximize shots when Deep-striking, and the extra I4 power weapon attack. Obviously you want Belial in your army. My Belial keeps his Storm Bolter and Sword of Silence, once again for more shots/power weapon attacks. Include one more HQ in the army. My preference is a Termie-Librarian, because of the unlimited range Psychic Hood, force weapon, and his weird Invul-save power. Most people use an Interrogator Chaplain, but I believe it all comes down to preference.

In a 1500 game, you can easily field 5 DW terminator squads, Belial, and the termie librarian. Small army, but sturdy and flexible.

The Bad
They are in the DA codex. It means their storm shields are 4+ CC only, their apothecary ignores first failed shooting armor save only. There expensive chapter master does not have an iron halo. Their drop pods cost 50 instead of 35, their dreads are more expensive. Their terminator squad cap at 5.

The Good
They can mix assault and shooty terminators, TH SS, and Cyclone launcher - fo realz.
Deathwing assault is cool

So that covers it, they suck pretty bad over all and you will be frustrated by their crappy equipment. I have a full DW army 35 terminators a few dreads and two LR. Right now my DA play as UM because that is without a doubt the worst codex in the game (DA Codex).

If you are serious about playing a terminator army play Wolfwing, I changed to a wolfwing army and I am way more satisfied and competitive, than the DW in todays game.

Ive never played either wolfwing or deathwing, but I do have 31 terminators And I love them. I should really try out wolfwing.
