hey there dakka, just a quick update on my latest project army, my imperial guard Heavy Cavalry army, and today is my Lord Commissar. He sat for a good while with nothing but black primer, but we have fixed that:

Hey painting looks really good and neat. Have to say though the purple clashes badly with the model. Any reason for the colour?? other than that i love it

dunno really.. was kind of using the GW picture for some inspriation, and theirs was purple as well.

Bah, I think the purple looks fine.

Obviously, you haven't yet washed the face, but I might dry washing some badab black over the highlights on the pants, since they seem a little abrupt and not blended in.
