Based on these...
..and the Elhiem versions...
...and what the full army will look like when it features in the AAG/Osprey 'Road to Baghdad' book...
Superb figures, need alot more of them now...

They are from Britannia, apart from the Shilka which is by S&S Models.

I was working at Bovington the day the Type59 and T55 arrived after Desert Storm. Got some great shots of me on top the 55 with the added concrete armour (Pre digital camera days Im afraid) clinging onto the DhSK mount.
Gets alot of stick that tank, but when you've got 50,000 of them who cares? lol

I use 20mm (1/72nd scale) figures and vehicles for all my WW2 and Moderns. I use two sets of rules; Rapid Fire for large scale battles and Force-on-Force for smaller platoon level engagements.

Nah... Dont like their ones. I prefer Siflor Tufts. I get mine from Mutineer Miniatures... He is the cheapest. Go for the two-tone variety, superb product.

Bases are cut from plasticard, sanded with PVA and builders sand, undercoated blacks, painted in whatever base colour and then drybrushed. Then 'tufted' and static grassed.
Very simple, but effective.
