Hi all, have seen some old threads about this and I want some more updated info about the gaming scene in Beijing. So far I have found 2 stores that sell GW products and have gaming tables, anyone else that has any info on where I can find others? Maybe there are some informal clubs?
The ones I know about:
Beijing Warhammer Club (北京战锤俱乐部)
Chaoyangmen Beixiaojie 71, in the basement
- Mostly WHFB players (me included) but also quite a lot of warmachine and 40k on weekends.
No. 14 Arsenal (十四号兵工厂) 战棋世界 on Taobao
Fangjia Hutong 46, E301 安定门方家胡同46号E301
- They claim there are mostly 40k players, prices on the Taobao store seem quite okay compared to other Chinese stores.
Andy's Warhammer (closed?)
- Went past this place, it is around Renmin University and it looked kinda closed so I am not sure. Edit: Went there again 18/9 -10 and it was open. Not much people though, they also claimed they didn't have that many people playing warhammer.
Any others to contribute? Anyone in Beijing want to play a game of Warhammer Fantasy and maybe even someone in Beijing who wants to split 1-2 boxes of Island of Blood with me? (I am interested in Skaven)
/Chris (gonna be in Beijing for a year or so)

Added some new info on Andy's Warhammer. So, anyone in China willing to share info or maybe go to one of these places and play a game?

Just this weekend the Wanfujing bookstore started selling GW products as well. About 2 parts 40k, 1 part Fantasy. There was a decent sale so the fiancee and I got the Island of Blood starter. If you still want to play, I'd be up for that.

So is Malestorm near the Drum and Bell tower still around?
What about the shop at the mall near Tian Tan? Shoushou... I think was the name of the mall.
I spent most of my time at Beijing Warhammer Club, is Jonathan still running it?
Interesting that Wangfujing is carrying GW stuff. I remember when they got a full rack of BL stuff, really weird to see in China, especially given China's well-known arbitrary censorship laws. I mean they've banned video games for having skeletons.
