Teclis may or may not go in the Phoenix guard, still have to play test it a bit.

I've seen strong arguments for Banner of the World Dragon to sit with Teclis in the Phoenix Guard. Keeps dwellers, dreaded 13th, etc. at bay...

Problem there is then I have 3 characters in a single unit. And while Magic immunity is nice, cannon balls aren't so magic these days.

I'm kind of surprised you opted for the DA/HoF combo for the BSB. Has it been, in your experience, better to have a 4+ reroll over a flat 2+?

Re: Banner of World Dragon - doesn't Caradryan give the PG unit a 1+* Ward (MR3) against Magic anyways? Admittedly not as good as full-out immunity to Magic, but still pretty damn good, no?

What do you want those DP and Swordmasters to do? If you say anything except speed bumps (or maybe support charges) then you should re-examine having them in your army. With step up, unless you're facing an MSU list those swordmasters will be toast - the number of wounds they output can no longer protect you against t3 5+ stats.

The swordmasters are there until I find a suitable replacement, likely white lions in october. The DP's are a distraction and flank charge unit.

Also, I can't find the rule that states MR gets passed from characters to units. Does this work with fear and terror as well?

oh and my bad, BSB has a shield. so 3+ reroll with 5+ ward.

Last time i checked, you cant take any type of save from dwellers from below, and why would you need an extra +3 MR on the guards? they alredi have MR (2) with there 4+ added they have a 2+ ward on magic anyway.. but still not from dwellers
