Hey guys,

This is a reduced version of the leaf blower, adjusted to 1500 points. Please take a look at it and see if you got any improvements you want to suggest. The heavy support is a straight copy of the leaf blower, since I played around with various alternatives, but nothing seems quite as good as this specific mix.

HQ: Company Command Squad ( 155 pts)
4 Company Command Squad (Grenade Launcher x4; Master of Ordnance)
1 Company Commander
1 Master of Ordnance
1 Chimera (Heavy Flamer)

Troops: Veteran Squad (160 pts)
9 Veteran Squad (Flamer x1; Plasmagun x2)

Sound list. Thanks for admiting that you've just copied someone else's list, realy makes a change from people coming up with "origonal" leafblower lists because they've changed a flamer for a plasma gun in one squad.

Well, as I said, I played around with various setups, and nothing deal quite as well in an all comers list. I was thinking of fielding 2 Executioners instead of the hyrdras and one of the medusas, which would be better against MEQs, but my gaming club has to much variety for it to be very effective.

Dont really see a point of a Mech HQ with MoO

I might sub him for an Astropath if I was going to play my CC more mobile, but I tend to use the Chimera for it mostly as a pillbox anyway and I seem to have good luck with the MoO always killing a lot more then its point cost.

Ah interesting. If its going to sit still why not switch the HF for a heavy bolter? get more shots in

I'll have to think about it. I usually use the HF as a close in defense, but it might work better at range. I think I will have to play test it out.

for obvious reasons this list will do fine...keep armies in front of you...only moving out in force after you have disembarked them from their transports...I would only change the 3 flamer vet squad...3 flamers from the back of a chimera are cool...but 3 meltaguns are even cooler...or copies of your 2 melta/1 flamer vet squad works fine also...drop one psyker to get those points...good luck...

I did what you suggested and am going to to playtest the list tomorrow and see how it does.

Well, only got in one game against Mech Eldar in today. It went rather well. Went second, blew up everything that got close turn 1 and then tabled almost everything he had left turn 2, making my opponent concede since he had no troops left to take the objectives.
