Food for a Giant Fenrisian Wolf

Hey all. I am a long time lurker, brand new member. Someone linked me Gitsplitta's blog about getting his 10-year-old son into the game and after spending four hours reading it, I decided to join the forum.
A little about myself: I started playing 40k in 2009 with a Space Wolves army. I've since grown the army to about 2500 points. I really like painting my wolves pre-heresy grey and making them look as filthy as I can manage. Some people call them GrimDark wolves and I'd say that's pretty apt. I'll be posting some of them soon.
I've recently tried my hand at some custom model creation. I built my own Ragnar Blackmane, which I shared in my gallery. I'm pleased with how he turned out, being that it was my first attempt at greenstuff and had to sculpt a shoulderpad and a cape for him. I'm pretty good at hair and fur, but terrible at anything else. =)
I, like many others before me, told myself that I'd only start a second army after my first one was complete and painted... Needless to say, I've started an Ork army and a WH since I started playing. Am I doing this right so far?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to interacting with you all soon!
