So, I'm sitting in my nice happy dorm room, and I've looked up to discover that our friendly local wargaming club is having an opening meeting, game....thingy.

....In ANY case, I was just wondering if there are any dakka users around who're also going to college up here in St. Andrews? And if so, would you like to play a game? I've got up to 2,000 points of IG for reg 40k, and I can toss on a pair of Baneblades if a bigger game is wanted. So, just either reply to the thread or PM me if you're nearby, and would want to play!

Hi
If your looking for games you could try the Gaming Kingdom.
This club is based on RAF Leuchars meets on a Monday night and some Sunday afternoons.
Bigger club with friendlier approach(IMHO) is Kirkcaldy gaming club.
It meet on a Sunday in Kirkcaldy.
This is a bit further for you to travel but could be worth it.
Is there a club in St Andrews?
I've not heard of one.

Yeah, it's a student gaming club....I'm just taking a peek. I'll be sure to look at your reccs, but I'm also planning on poking up at GW Dundee and Edinburgh, just to see what they're like. Hopefully I'll be able to find good games often.

GW shops around here seem to be for the 9-15 year olds.
I hve not managed a good game there in 10 years!
But then i'm an old bastard.
Is the club at the Uni open to non students?

I doubt it unfortunately....it's one of the student assosciations, so I'm betting it's mostly meant for students I'd guess.

The one at my university had one "outsider" playing, so you never know...
