Ditch the predator, take 2 baals, and add Mephiston as your HQ, you can use The Grim as Mephiston, he can take wings and a jumpack with a spell or something, that things beastly. Then flank your baals and deepstrike your troops. Give each jump squad a Priest as well

Nice idea but drop at least one unit of DC and take a Tac squad. If you roll an objective mission you're pretty much screwed unless you can table your opponent. You'll be most certainly playing 2000 point games so with the 70 Points left over you could buy some more weapon upgrades for your DC troops, such as Infernus Pistols.

IMHO putting DC with jump packs make it easier to have them tied up.

I used to have some tau, and against my brother, I could beat him quite easily because of the DC's rage rule, I would make them follow a battlesuit around the board while the good chunk of my army shot his DC up. This rule doesn't apply to them if they are in rhinos.

Another thing is maybe like Valkyrie said, drop a DC squad for a tac squad in objective games, give it something like a missle launcher and a melta gun.

Then split it into combat squads taking one half in a razorback, up with the DC in rhinos, then the other half will sit back in cover or on an objective on foot. (The HW one would be on foot.)

Drop a DC for two tac squads.

Or drop all the DC and take a bunch of assault marines, they count as troops and as far as I know they can take abjectives, they also have Descent of angels, you miss out on the power fists/power weapons/thunder hammers, however you gain a ton of points to beef up your army, and you gain meltas/flamers. You can also attach a Sanguinary Priest to each assault squad and have basically the same stats as a death company added to that squad.

Isnt that ruining the point of a DC army?
