Biggest problem? Your units are very confused with their weapon loadouts

Its best for each squad to have all the same weapons. CCS especially with 1 anti MEQ weapon, 1 assault weapon, and one anti tank weapon and a PW that probably would do little. Flamers and Carapace arent very necessary with Vets. Switch them out for power guns like melta or plasma or you could run them cheap I suppose with grenade launchers. If you want to keep the flamers then maybe converting a few vet squads into a platoon wouldnt be too bad since you are foot slogging it which is a bit weak in 5th (plus not to mention the range your vets need to get to to be effective) but coupled with a lot of bodies and commissars, it could work. Ogryns (especially min sized foot sloggers) are not going to be the most efficient unit as much as I love them. I would drop them and some armored sents for vendettas for your anti tank abilities (2 las sents cost as much as a vendetta!). The LM executioner doesnt work too well with multi meltas. Although I think the most expensive option, full out plasma might not be a bad decision. Might not get its points back but it does look scary and a lot of armies would try to take it out. Or you could switch it out for some anti transport fire power in the form of hydras or possible artillery

thanks, think im going to give the vet squads the grenade launchers, and keep the melta in squad 1, and the ogryns i think im going to drop for the extra tanks (cause who doesnt like more tanks?) The executioner i kept the plasma cannon sponsons for, so i'll try a couple games with it and see how it goes. Overall appreciate the response, i found it helpful =)

Its always good to get experience in battle and helps develop your own personal preferences. For example I never really cared for medusas but I know some people who would run 3 of them with breacher shells. Also it really helps if you have some lax players with you. proxying units every now and then can really save some cash on some choices

Yeah, so the firepower is all screwed up. Also, you're spending an awful lot on carapace armor. I'd drop the carapace and the sentinels and you can get 3 russes and some serious weapons for the vets. Anything extra, and you can swap a vet squad for an infantry platoon. That way you'd be able to keep your numbers up better for a proper infantry list, while still taking lots of vets.

Oh dear. That CCS is all messed up. Best drop everything and take mass specials. Plasma is pretty cool or meltas.

you don't need carapace armour as you can get another unit for all that! Ditch all the plasma pistols as well and take 3 grenade launchers instead of 2 along with a flamer.

Ogryns aren't that cool TBH.

Sentinels are ok, but can be expensive, like yours. Outflanking ones with autocannons work the best.

Tanks are ok but only sponons you need are plasma cannons and nothing else.

In this particular list, ogryn would be okay. Vets are fragile and benefit from durability elsewhere in the list. If he's not going to put them in chimeras, then having some meat shields out in front will be useful.

of course, 3 ogryn aren't going to do jack. Bump it up to 6 or don't bother.
