Right, first up see if your camera's got a marco function, your pictures will improve immensely. Next, I suggest you get some lamps to light up your models.

On the colour scheme, from what I can see, it looks a bit like white scars. I actually think it is white scars.

Alternatively, upload them into your Dakka gallery and attach images to a thread. I believe the image is then automatically scaled down, and people can vote and comment on it as well.

There are a ton of free image tools out there. Try Irfanview, its great. The deal is, if really want people to spend the time to comment you need to spend the time to post decent images.
