Well Dakka, this if my first green stuff conversion. Let me know what you think.

I fancied trying to put together a Big Choppa nob and since my newly purchased bitz box contained some extra armour, I decided to make him an 'Ard Boy too.

For the arms, I utilised one from the AOBR warboss (right) and a standard Nob arm (left). After reposing both above his head, I needed to create some shoulders and thicken and lengthen the left arm. The Big Choppa was made from two and a bit Nob choppas.

After the spray, I realised that the left forearm was far smaller than the right, so I decided to green stuff that aswell to thicken it.

After a respray I then went on to give the skin a base coat. Mix of Ork Hide Shade and Snot Green.

Then a quick devlan mud wash and some highlighting with snot green, followed by a snot green/skull white mix.

Some more highlighting and other details painted.

Finished product after some further higlighting and washing all over.

Not entirely happy with the severed head and as usual posting pictures imediately highlights things you've missed (seems I've forgotten to paint his nails/claws) but other than that we are about done.

Whatcha think folks?

Not bad, excellent even.

Though I would say to mix the GS more thoroughly, seems to be lots of yellow in the mix.

TY. Yea this was my first real attempt at using green stuff beyond filling gaps so I got better as I went along. Wish I'd taken more pictures of just the green stuff now but oh well.

In the second to last picture, everything up until the string on the left (his right) arm is green stuff, and everything up to the forearm.

Were anything to be changed, I'd say that the shoulder could be made a bit bigger (some of the arm could be sacrificed, as it's a big big). It definitely does look big, angry, and orkish, though, so nice job. I especially like the overall pose.

Yea I'm with you there. Not sure if it's possible to tell, but I did cut it back slightly between the sculpting and painted images; not quite enough though. Thanks for the feedback .
