I've been keeping a running account of the Escalation League I'm running , I figured I'd link to it here. I would put it up here directly but it'd be way to much work. However if people like the reports, I will start posting each week on Dakka as well.

We've been through 9 weeks now, so there's a good bit to read. Feedback is appreciated.

Gotta love cheap units and steadfast. Doesnt matter when your only WS2 Str 3, when for 100 points you stick around for 4-5 turns.

Steadfast single handedly made Skaven one of the best armies in the game, the FAQ was just rude.

Yup people complain about the new magic and what not....

Completely overlooking that steadfast is the single most broken new rule.

I play skaven, and i think its just cheese.... Pun intended.

It does what it's supposed too, which is bring Infantry into the spotlight. Personally I would have played like that anyways, as I love big armies. I have no problems with Magic, the reason it kills so many models is because it's a counter to big units, as it has been to me in many games. The only problems are armies without significant offensive Magic AND big blocks like, say Wood Elves?

Oh I love the getting away from hero hammer. Seeing tons of infantry hit the table is awesome.
