I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything relevant via the dakkasearch. If an ork player would be so kind, would you measure a trukk, as well as a battlewagon and post the basic dimensions? I'm interested in attempting to pick up a few toy trucks to convert up my own vehicles, why pay $50 a battlewagon if I can build one? I'd just like to start with a base, and for sake of fairness be able to have them as appropriate size. Thank you kindly in advance.

I'm not an ork player, but I have a land raider and a ruler here, and its 15cm long. I'd assume a smaller rhino or something would be around 10-12cm.

Just build it and if it doesn't work, oh well, it was worth a shot.

Wow, that small? Figured for a trukk you're supposed to fit 12 models on the back, 1 base is roughly 1/4 of that size..

The trukk model barely is able to fit 2-3 models in the back if you build it straight from the box :p
I don't have a ruler or bw/trukk, but the trukk is a little bit longer than a rhino.

somewhere in the northern side of the beachball

The point is that you stack the models on top of each other. It looks much more orky that way.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

Haha, I went down and asked my FLGS dude to show me a couple. I didn't realize vehicles were that small! Gah, newb mistake, I figured you actually had to put the models -in- the vehicles. Got the truck measurements as roughly 5"x2.5"x2.5" and yeah, no way in hell I'd be getting 12 boyz in there. In the least, I found some toys about the right size, they're even armor plated to start with! Now to make'm orky. Thank you.
