Okay....

Ive been experimenting with DA for some time now and never seem to get any kind of advantage.

My most recent game was against a Tyranid Friend of mine. The list i decided to take for this was as follows..

this was a 2k list. in which there were 6 MC.
i managed to take out 3 trygons in turn 2 but with them being nids they got the charge on turn 3.
my bikes outflanked but where slaughtered by Doom of malan'tai :( (that model is so over powered for its points)
needless to say i was tabled in turn 5 only having killed the 3 MC and a hive Guard and a few gaunts.

can anyone add to the list to make this a more competative DA army?

Against nids, flamer templates are your best friend, using missle launchers on the devs, and all the meltas, really helped with taking out all the beasties, but i dont think ill be taking three trygons again xD i might take aone trygon, one mawlock and a unit of genestealers, heh yeh so missiles were a good bet, its just a shame i had so many creatures, not sure how to upgrade it (you cant take a redeemer.. seriously stupid against nids) the dreds didnt really have a chance to do anything but meh, my only suggestion is more tactical marines and less bikes. actually no ive changed my mins, land speeders with heavy flamer and assault cannon, you can gang them up against the monsters with the cannons at 36" then get close to gaunts, they cant hurt you in combat (unless they have furious charge) and you can just burn baby burn away. asoon as you take down the MC nids are just a mop up.

saying it did quite well isnt ways to imrove it mate and since your the nid player im not taking your advise because i dont trust you XD

WAAC players take dirty units and lots of them. i do not. we have been over this time and time again -.- it just so happens that i make my army work together

that i s adirty list considering you drop malan'tai on a unit and destroy itand hes 90 points. then theres the 6xMC with 6 wounds each at T6. also the Hive Guard with 8 Str8 shots.

Its not that the list just works well its because its a dirty list that poops on you

No the hive guard get 6 shots between them not 8

get down to the library and get the book "everybody Poops" so its platently not there fault

No, if i took a winged tyrant, 4 terivigons, 3 units of termagaunts, 2 huge units of gargoyles with buffs, loads of hive guard, trygon, doom etc it would be cheesy.
