Just wondering if there are any other Anarchy fans on Dakka? Also for those of you who are fans who is your favorite character? I personally like Opie but that's mainly because I'm a fan of the actor who plays him.

I'm kind of addicted to it. It's to the point that I have been known to shout at the screen while watching. It's become my own soap opera or "man drama". One interesting thing about the show is that they make even those characters in the club who have done very bad things likable through painstaking (and sometimes painful) character development.
I also like Opie and would also mention the mother who is quite possibly the strongest character in the series. Who knew leela could act?

I absolutely love this show.

Gemma is a great character, one of my favorites... along with Uncer, Tig, and Bobby.

howbout that third season premiere, huh? CRAZY!

I loved the first season but midway through the second season I got a new neighbor 2 houses down who owns a Harley Fat Boy and it is excessively loud even by Harley standards. Now I hate the sight and sound of Harleys. He's a cool dude and all, and most of the harley riders that come into my Jap/Brit bike dealership are, but the South Park episode about Harley's really nailed it on the head, all they want is attention. Ugh... mini anit-Harley rant, sorry.

Anyway, back to the show, the first season was strong, and the second seasons tension between Jax and Clay was exquisite, and they should have kept it going with that. It just seems that its sidetracked from what it started out as, which was the future club president trying to steer the club into a somewhat legit lifestyle, while the current club leader is hell bent on a criminal enterprise. I thought that was infinitely more interesting then an IRA agent stealing a baby and an ATF agent, who three episodes prior was balling her eyes out after almost being killed by a merciful Ope, framing Gemma for murder. The show is good, no doubt, it just seems like it jumped the shark halfway through the second season and its just veering off into a series of sidestories that aren't what made the first season epic.

Having said that, the only thing I want out of season 3 is for the female ATF agent to die. It is not entertaining to view her face in High Definition. On top of that, her character is an unlikeable douchebag.

The first season was alright. 2nd season was a bit boring. And 3rd season sucked bad. I stopped watching it about halfway throuhg the season.

It wasn't getting interesting to keep watching it I much prefer Dexter or Breaking Bad then Sons of Anarchy.

It kind of sucks about Hale, he actually kind of grew on me a bit. I think my favorite part of any season is either between when Otto beat the crap out of Shale or when tig is freaking about about the dolls when he is supposed to make the pick up with Opie, the look on his face was classic

Oh woops Thats was part of season 2 wow I feel stupid sorry. Yeah was part of season 2 that sucked.

Love the show. SoA and Weeds are the only series that I watch religiously. SoA has fallen off a bit from the first season, but still highly entertaining imo.

I'm really not sure where they are going with them going to Ireland and the lady that has the baby now being John Teller's ex or whatever. It's kind of unnecessary drama and weird.

I adore Gemma. I think she's one of the most interesting female characters on TV right now. I think it's the complexity of how she has to balance being a wife, a mom, a biker's old lady, and a bad-ass chick.

The show itself intrigues me because there are no good guys at all. There are just varying degrees of bad guys.

to be fair he was on Jackass for awhile and he isn't in the show anymore just season 2

Seriously though, I thought he was AWESOME in season 2. His character was pretty hardcore and somehow he was a perfect fit to act it. Im 50/50 on the 3rd season so far, sometimes its too dull and repetitive, and others its just holy crap that happened? I too was sad to see Hale squished, he grew on my wife and I too. That was one hell of a way to drop the guy though

As far as characters go, I either really like Tig, or Bobby. Bobby just reminds me of myself, short, chunky and laid back until you piss me off. Tig makes me laugh. The dude just ALWAYS gets into something, some how.

Any show with Ron Perlman gets my full attention. Damn the Swedish TV-lag!

I just finished season 2 on DVD and due to my schedule will have to wait for season 3 to be relaesed on DVD to watch it.

I like the show. Of course I am also a loud American Vtwin enthusiast.
