Skaven player is real expierenced and has played for years.

i plan on giving the sorcerer lore of Death. can help deal with all those bodies.

Chaos lord is basically a CC anvil to break the enemy on. 2+ armor, 4+ ward will keep him alive.

Chosen are choppy, shields are for ranged protection on the way in.

Ogres are points filler as i don't have any knights yet, but should be decent.

Divide the units of chaos warriors into 3 units of 18, ive never liked ogres but if they work for you im not going to argue, i would personall drop the ogres, take the warriors in 3 squads of 15 and use the extra points you gained from the ogres and warriors to either buy a giant or a hell cannon, if you take the hell cannon, then you can add a few extra bodies to some of the warrior units

Add a few more bodies to the Chosen unit - 10 is just not enough to hold up against the shooting of a skaven army.

You might try replacing the Ogres with Trolls - their regeneration should keep them around a bit longer.

And the list is 3 points over.

10 Chosen at 2k would look like they can get swarmed easily. Maybe you should get a hellcannon

do you expect shooty skaven? jezzails/cannons etc. might make short work of expensive big guys. also, isn't biting blade a -1 modifier to armor? in this case since skaven are generally low armor, you might think about adding attacks to maximize combat res. This might be a good place for a "multiple modestly sized units of warriors" approach works well- if you can do you best to engage a couple warrior units at a time on even big skaven groups, they'll survive well and dish out a lot of damage in time to move on to the next target

i have no idea what the skaven will bring, although he did buy a couple of IoB sets when they came out to add to his army.


i took the biting blade more because it is a magic weapon, not for the modifier. just in case a HPA shows up.

i could do 3 units of 16 warriors in 5x3 with an extra in back, although i only have 2 command groups

If you are expecting an HPA the magical sword won't do anything against it so get rid of that, instead you should replace the banner of swift stride with the Banner of Eternal Flame. In case he comes with shooty skaven I would replace the Banner of Wrath with a Blasted Standard to protect against the stuff that ignores armor.
