Help me with a query I have, for lack of a proper understanding and a search for enlightenment.

Transported units count as separate from the transport for shooting? So if the Raider with DL pops a transport can the embarked warriors splinter cannon the ejected occupants?

Can Sentinel Pilots shoot their laspistols? I don't think they're listed in the wargear, but I glued the holstered one on to the side of the chassis. Seems a shame to waste it.

No, they cannot, because the rules do not say they can.

I don't have my codexes on me, but I'm pretty sure Sentinel Pilots don't have a laspistol listed in their wargear. So, they don't actually have it, even if you did glue it on.
