Skaven. They're even more different than IG.

But, seriously, what style are you looking for? Horde? Gunline? Mech?

If you like shooting, you could try out Tau. They're not the most competitive army at the moment, but they definitely handle shooting better than anyone.

Switch it up and try horde assaulting with either Orks or Tyranids. That way it changes your game, not just your models.

I've been playing Warhammer 40,000 since 1988, and am just coming back from a bit of a 10-year hiatus. And please excuse any wild accusations, hallucinations, or outright factual errors, as I am recovering from a serious head injury. And Warhammer 40,000 is part of my therapy. OH YEAH!

Make sure you proxy an army before diving in and playing a horde army. After playing DA you will find playing a horde army a lot different. If you're after a challenge, try Eldar.

Eldar and Dark Eldar - Hit and Run. If you get hit, you die.
Orks & 'Nids - Overwhelm your opponent with CC. Get used to the very heavy losses. And with the orks you get to laugh alot. With the 'nids you get to paint the same thing over and over and over...
Sisters of Battle - Fire. EVERYWHERE! But very expensive and the rules are outdated.
Tau - Shoot. Shoot. Shoot. Run like hell. Shoot.
Necrons - Phase out.
IG - Tanks EVERYWHERE. Infantry is only there to die in large numbers.

That about covers it...

I'm borrowing my brothers IG army for now hhhmmm tanks. I'm thinking ork army maybe they look quite fun to play. Can spend a bit of time getting used to large numbers getting killed with IG

If you want to have fun playing, I would suggest orks. GW made the ability to customize orks redonkulously large. If for some reason, you are having a sentinel kind of day. Just buy three of them and convert them into killa kans. I play orks and I find them a very fun army to play.
