Oh boy, air cav with FW can be really funny. Cookie cutter list just got cookier!

65-Elysian Command Squad: Homing Beacon
x2 40-Drop Sentinel: Heavy Flamer, Smoke Launchers
55-Drop Sentinel: Multi Melta, Smoke Launchers
x6 140-Elysian Veteran Squad: 3 Melta Guns, Shotguns, Demolitions
x5 140-Valkyrie: Multiple Rocket Pods, Heavy Bolters
x2 130-Vendetta

2000

With elysians, Valks (not vendettas, thank god) are Dedicated transports. So this basically means I have 7 flyers that can do whatever they want and carry a payload of melta vets. Only real reason my command has a beacon is to DS the drop sents better (I dont think DS too many Valks is a good idea). Although I was thinking of dropping the drop sentinels (dohohoho) for another vendetta but that seems too mean

I've had a flip through the recent IA rules, but don't own the book, so I can't really comment on individual points costs. I can say that that looks like one nasty list! It's like IG air-cav, but freed of all squadron limitations.

I mean, 7 AV12 vehicles (and 3 AV10) isn't that much, toughness-wise, but offensive capability is through the roof and you do have 6 seperate scoring units. So this will be a sort of all-or-nothing list, but it obviously has the potential to crush people. Good luck getting pick-up opponents to let you use it though!

Eldar Corsairs: 4000 pts
Imperial Guard: 4000 pts

Corregidor 700 pts
Acontecimento 400 pts

Yes I know its all or nothing

A standard Las/Plas Razorspam SW list with 3 full units of long fangs can easily destroy everything in one turn

One thing I do remember about the IA Elysian rules is that you can't take an astropath - that's a shame, I would definitely recommend it because if you get second turn against a proper shooty army, I would absolutely recommend reserving everything.

Yes I believe that was on purpose!

We wouldnt want an entire army to benefit from that!

Which reminds me, I assume after they can arrive, platoons DS one at a time unit to unit right? It'd seem unwieldy if they cant!
