Im considering starting and Eldar army very soon and was wondering what an easy paint scheme would be for them as im no decent painter, Uthwe seems simple enough but does anyone have any other suggestions?

You can create your own if you like: light grey with dark blue guns and red spirit stones, cloth bits picked out in yellow or black. My Sunblitz Brotherhood Eldar that I recieved as a gift were painted in orange with black tiger stripes. Go wild, be happy. Just because they give six or so examples in the book doesn't mean you have to follow them. My first Eldar were gold with black guns, white cloth bits, and blue eye lenses (this was back before Aspect Warriors.)

I've been playing Warhammer 40,000 since 1988, and am just coming back from a bit of a 10-year hiatus. And please excuse any wild accusations, hallucinations, or outright factual errors, as I am recovering from a serious head injury. And Warhammer 40,000 is part of my therapy. OH YEAH!

I think Ulthwe is the best colour scheme for eldar, it looks realy badass and the vehicals look even cooler.

Get army painter yellow, spray prime them in yellow, and wash them with Ogryn Flesh wash. Now paint the helmets blue. Instant Iyanden!

You could just undercoat them black and say they only fight at night...

But on a serious note: I only recently started eldar as well, and my army colour scheme I made up as I went along, it's the easiest because there are no strict guidlines.
