I was just wondering if anyone has built the arachnids from the ramos box set and how did you do it because i am having trouble gluing the pieces together.

Thanks

Good luck with that, there really isnt an easy way to do it.

The way I did it...was to paint everything up, including the base. Then assemble them on the base, useing both the base and the attachment points to hold the things together structuerly.

Pin them.

Now, before anyone freaks out and yells at me about not being able to pin somehting so small, let me explain. : )

There are holes -indentations, really- where the arachnid legs are supposed to go. Drill these out.
Now, file down the ends of the legs slightly. Just enough that they fit into the holes.
Glue.

to further support the models, drill similar holes in the bases & insert the tips of the legs into the holes when mounting them onto the base.

I bought a bunch of pre-assembled arachnids on bartertown a while back. When I got them, they were all falling apart. This is how I remedied the issue I was having.

They've been beaten around since then, with only a primer coat on top of that work, and they're all still holding strong.

Scales of Justice was insanely annoying to put together too. Most I've seen for the arachnids is a scenic base with the arachnid mounted on something else. Try your hand at that possibly?
