In likely the first of many threads of a similar vein, I'd like to wishlist/discuss what the newly announced Warhammer Forge (WHF) might make, down the road.

I play High Elves, and I've got a few ideas for whit I'd like to see for them. I'd like a magically floating obelisk, that can be loaded with a certain amount of infantry, that can either move around and shoot (if loaded with Spearmen or LSG) or have some sort of appropriate bonus when assaulting a structure, like a siege tower. In addition, it should have kind of it's own magical shooting spell.

I'd also love to see White Lion Riders, either as a mount(s), or a pride of lions that are Monstrous Cavalry, though I'm not sure if White Lions quite qualify.

Maiden Guard would also be nice, though I'm not sure if that's fluffy. I don;t feel that it's impossible for the Everqueen to order them to go fight abroad. No more so, than White Lions, who are the bodyguards of the Phoenix King...

*I understand High Elves just got a lot of new stuff, but if you have issue with that, this is not the thread to vent it, and how "army XXX deserves an update so much more."*

So go ahead. Throw out some possibilities.

Outside of terrain i think they will concentrate on things like that Dwarf blimp in the BRB or Ships so you could do fantasy battles at sea. Looking forward to it certainly.

I don't see High Elves getting a lot. A couple dragon varients for sure. Maybe a couple differant types of bolt throwers.

Maiden Guard might not be out of the question. I've got about 10 left over from the old days. I've kicked around the idea of buying more off of ebay to form a spear regiment from them. Some forgeworld ones would be nice.

Chaos Dwarves would be interesting.

for my ogres i would like them to make a Scraplauncher that isn't a to assemble as well as some alternate models.

in general they should do some of the models that don't have official models like the HPA.

Lets see, what I would like to see is a bit for quite a few armies:

Chaos Dwarfs: CD Infantry Models, a remake of the old Juggernauts, Lammasu and obviously more artillery

Lizardmen: Coatl, Arcanadons and Thunder Lizards are the main things I want to see, along with obviously more dinosaurs. I'd also quite like to see something like this being for sale

Dwarfs: Hot air balloons/blimps and of course artillery

Wood Elves: Fairie Swarm (Resin details), Treegiant

High Elves: Phoenix (possibly), the aforementioned lion riders

Orcs and Goblins: Squiggadon, Snotling contraptions (like the pump wagon but bigger)

Tomb Kings: Giant Scarab, Sphinx, Roc

Chaos: Nidhogg and a Colossus

Other/Miscellaneous: Giants of Albion, Araby Camel Riders, Araby Flying Carpets, Araby Elephants

That's all I can think of now though chances are very few of those will ever be made

Lion Riders is a stupid idea, period.

I would absolutely love to see some resin Kroxigors for LM, as well as the Thunder Lizard/Coatls that are mentioned in the codex. Some terrain would be fantastic too.

It's complicated."

May I ask why you think that? Because simply saying their stupid isn't a useful comment in any way

Way I see it is lions are (in warhammer) one of the honorable species of animals and already pull high Elf chariots, so why shouldn't the Elves ride them as well?

Also with Kroxigors, a new form of larger Kroxigors could work, or simply a different form, also maybe a model for Nakai the Wanderer, the albino Kroxigor could be done in a similar way

I've already said why it's a stupid idea in another thread.

But to reiterate:
The White Lions of Chrace aren't steeds. They're beasts that are allowed to exist because they can be tamed as animals that can be either:
A) Raised from when they're cubs to hunt the Druchii Shade Clans infiltrating Ulthuan, with the Lions usually accompanying Chracian Huntsmen(aka: "The White Lions", usually with the Huntsmen finding the cubs when slaying a particularly vicious renegade White Lion in Chrace. That's usually done when they're making the transition from a simple Huntsman to becoming a member of the Phoenix King's bodyguard, with the cubs being raised up to be companion hunters to the Huntsmen/White Lions).
B) In very rare occasions, they're trained up to pull Chracian Chariots, but that's supposed to be something that's so bloody rare that it makes direct intervention from Asuryan himself look common.

I like the idea of making ships in order to to naval battles, being able to move them so far every turn and having to board your enemy and shoot over at him, siege engines would probably come to a much more interesting use in this, but might need to have some modifiers based on ship movement and so every battle doesn't end before it starts.

I'd also like to see them do the beastmen's monsters, none of which have models of their own yet.
