Hey guys,as some of you (well one or two of you) may be aware,I've been longing for a Praetorian IG force for quite some time.
Well,I'm in the process of acquiring some Mordians, which I hope to convert to Praetorian...and that's my problem.

I have absolutely zero Idea as to how to go about sculpting pith helmets and have had no luck finding a tutorial on the steps of doing so.
I'm fairly good when it comes to doing GS work where pustules and boils and other "chaotic" additions are concerned, but I'm a bit leery taking on the clean uniformed appearance of a pith helmet...at least without a step by step guide.

So,any and all help/ideas/tutorials...would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

How about using FB Empire pistolier heads? They all have nice pith helmets.
