Thinking of running this in a Tourney in Janurary, models marked with ** are ones I already own. Being in Australia means there is a Comp, but after what happened last year I say "screw the comp I have no rules".

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.

What is Lysander doing in this army? He's got no assault type squad to accompany (it's a waste of his points to use him just to get rerolls on the sternguards' bolters) and no ride. Same obejction to the sternguard, how are they going to get close enough to use their abilities?

If you want Lysander, you'll need to cut something to get a land raider and something to ride in it (ie a TH/SS terminator squad).

You could alternatively go for a cheaper HQ, and up the sternguard squad to be larger and have a drop pod. Currently, I think the weak points of this army are the sternguard and lysander, who are out of place, and the scouts - one unit of that type is a bit futile as a suicide gesture. Tactical squad, typhoons, ironclads and vindicators are all sensible choices taken together in good proportions, but I would revise what you want to do with the rest of the list.

If you check the pts then a Pod is actually included. he just forgot to add it .
Lysander does seem out of place. Just take a standard Libby and get more Sternguards and give the scouts a Fist and the LSS a HF

I'm running this as an expansion of a 1,200pt tourney list thats been pretty reliable for me, and the title is Imperial Fists, not Space Marines, so Lysander stays.

I didnt know Lysander was in every single battle that the IF participated inn

Ok, small changes I would make, drop the PW on the Tacticals. Its a complete waste especially in a combat squaded unit. I would also consider droping the PCs for standard MLs, that will give you points for a PF on your scouts and another sternguard

I could shoehorn in a Terminator Assault Unit, but at the least thats 200pts + 10pts to ensure they hit the ground.

No one is going to fear 5 Space Marines with a power fist and Lysander. Just mass charge them, Sternguard are for shooting anyway.

I know everyone is on you about not having an assault unit for Lysander to be in. It would be nice but isn't completely necessary. If you want to put Lysander in with Sternguard in a pod for the re-roll to miss then go for it. I would suggest making that sterguard as full as possible with only a few combi weapons. Overall I like the list, it seems very Imperial Fist to me, if I could change anything I would take a unit for Lysander to go with for assaults but it is after all your list. I do think the Scout sarge needs a fist though, otherwise you're losing a lot of punch.
