Ordered it on friday night. It's my mom and dad's christmas present for me this year (probably the only thing I'm getting ). They got it, but I can't have it until christmas though >:O

Anyway, did anyone else get one? I don't want to feel like a jerk and be the only one

Also, a question. How often do you think I'll end up using the stippling brush? I never need something like that, but I was wondering if there's a way to use it for other things..?

I bought one a few years ago. Served me well, you should get quite the use out of it.

As for the stippling brush, experiment with it! Often you'll get the weirdest results by just messing around with something, though unfortunately I'm at a loss for what it could be used for besides the intended function.

No, I haven't gotten one.

I spend so much money on foam board and glue sticks that I don't have much left over =)

I think my FLGS has a couple at the painting tables. Never picked one up before, maybe I'll try it out this weekend.

The great thing about the MPS is that I already have the paints I'll be using the most, so now I'll have extras of the ones I really use! I can finally make washes out of all those pots that have a couple drops left

Also, I tried charadon granite...Nice color, but a little too green for my tastes.. It'd be better as a primer, IMO. Black wash over it looked much better.

Wat? Don't think so. Gw paints have been known to last for decades. I've got a friend who owns some vermin brown from about 1993. He still uses it!

Aye, the ones from 1993 did last decades, don't know what's wrong with the newer ones. I have to say that I wouldn't need a box of hundreds of paints myself, I do nearly all my work with about 10 paints, and then only use the odd additional one for a bit of colour like purple.

I use (I'll put the GW names where they apply), white, black, bestial brown, elf flesh, gore red, bright red, mithril silver, blue, green and bleached bone, if you look at my Dogs of War gallery about 95% of all the paint in there are those colours.

GW paints last a pretty long time if you take decent care of them. Just add a few drops of water to them every so often and you're pretty much good to go.

I guess it's just me and my thousands of paints then, since I have to rebuy my whole collection at least twice a year.

I found my 4 year old paints the other day from when I stopped playing. The washes were still fine, and the normal paints were just gluggy. Some hot water would have smoothed them out, but I threw them anyway, since I'd already rebought them. They've been sitting in garages in a carboard box for 4 years. GW paints should last a while

Same :(. But have fun OP. Currently deciding with half my paint pots what to use on those new Dark Eldar next month myself. I have a few paints from early 2000s that are still going strong.

Sorry! This is a joint gift between two family members though. I'd never ask a single person to buy me something like this! This is probably the biggest gift I've gotten in years...Next to that vintage Schott leather jacket I got..718$!

I bought the old one in the aluminium case and as a lot of my paints were in a bad way I decided to buy the new one as well. Love it to bits <3
