List looks pretty OK, scouts seems totally out of place tho. drop them and take a third MM/HF Speeder. Combi PG seems strange in the tactical squad. Take a combi Melta instead

Two lone close range RBs will not last long.
What are the Libby and Pedro doing? ARe they going to stay in the LasPlas RB?

Libby and pedro are going with the combat squadded tactical squads in the RBs.

Scouts was a last minute addition. I currently only have one landspeeder so doing one more is ok but not sure about 2. I have a scout squad done up already so wondered about putting them in.

Combi-Plasma is to give tac squads a bit more firepower.
If they fire at 12" i'd rather have 2 str 7 shots than 1 str8 shot.
I know weird. but my dice rolls are so crap with one-shot wonders....

Mixing combi weapon and special weapon is generally a bad idea. I would actually consider taking 4 TLAC Razorbacks in your case. You will still have a rather good gunline and now you have twice as many RBs up close and personal

hmmm well that part at least is flexible cause I can proxy my rhinos as razorbacks with any loadout.

Wait...You actually bought Rhinos?

Razorbacks in the US cost $5 more then a Rhino and you get a $17 bit. Its never really worth it to buy a Rhino.

As for your list, I would be tempted to make the Razorbacks all Lass/Plass, then drop the Predators down to HB sponsons.

So you'd put the lascannons on the AV11 transports and have the heavy bolters on an AV13 tank.....


and yes I bought rhinos cause wasn't expecting to use razorbacks way back when I started creating an army

Before you all start saying "WHY ARE YOU SPENDING SO MANY POINTS ON" the idea is that:
a) if assault cannons get taken out I can still use storm bolters and HK.
b) Assault cannons give me 4 shots each shooting turn. this means with the storm bolter the razorback can put out 6 shots at infantry, 4 at Str 6.
c) keeping rhinos so melta guns can fire without having to get out.
d) storm bolters on predators so can be anti-infantry if need be
e) extra armour on razorbacks and librarian rhino so I can still move if shaken and get to objectives.

You don't need extra armour on the tanks for objectives because you rush the objectives last turn, with only two Razors to target prioritise don't expect them to last long.

Storm bolter on the Razors isn't a must because assault cannon is dual role, anti troop and tank while the HK is just tank. The storm bolter can't do nothing to armour so will be wasted, which means fire that one shot h-k at a tank and waste the storm bolter or fire H-K once and fire purely at infantry. Easiest thing to do is stick to Rhinos so the Sternguard can fire out the top and no target priority from the enemy then.

You definately don't need storm bolters on Predators as they're anti tank - storm bolters on these are a waste.

extra armour is to make sure they get to objectives and not stunned...

storm bolters are for extra firepower...

I agree it can;'t do anything against armour on predators...might drop those.

You don't need to worry about objectives until turn 4-5. Your tanks will be long dead before then more than likely.

Getting hunter killers would be better for more ranged attack methods. A extra storm bolter isn't really needed.
