Vipers are pretty bad. I'd recommend dropping them.

You could also upgrade the Seer Council a bit. You can never have enough Warlocks in it.

Other than that, I like the flavor of the list, but I think you're going to find that you are seriously lacking tank killing ability. I realize that's what the Vipers were supposed to be and I just told you to drop them. But, I'd recommend finding another solution somehow as the Vipers are just too fragile without enough firepower for their points, and EML is can handle transports, but not pure tanks.

If you don't mind breaking the flavor, get some Fire Dragons in a WS.

drop the 6 vipers and im not sure if the prisms are there? take warwalkers.. mainly because i do and no1 else does.. xD take sum lances on em and EML, failing that take 2 prisms or something, your going to find it very easy to take objectives but i think someone clever could stick a foot in your face with alot of blast weapons.

I wonder if there is another word for "thesaurus"

It doesn't look bad, as far as all jetbike armies go. I would like to file a disagreement with the previous 2 posters, I actually think the vipers are a good fit- both practically and fluff wise. The reason being is because they can move 12 inches and fire all their guns (eml blast as defensive) and blast templates help mitigate the effect of low ballistic skill.

I would, however, divide the Vypers into 3 squads of 2, instead of 2 squads of 3. This gives more targets for your opponent to shoot at, and lets you shoot at more targets.

i'm not necessarily sold on the Fire Prisms though. They are the only skimmer bodies on the table, and you have small arms fire galore in the form of destructor locks. I would drop them and beef up your council. You should be able to take about 4 more Warlock's for the cost of your Prisms, as well as a few more bells and whistles on the squad (such as a spare enhance / embolden, and a few singing spears)

Hmm... Interesting point about the Vipers. I worry about them though, as with only 2 tanks and no WS on the table, they will quickly become the anti-vehicle target and will be in big trouble then. Should he make one of the 2 squad vipers into Brightlance? He needs something to take out AV13+ if the Fire Prisms are quickly countered and the Council can only handle so much at once.

And, you recommend Singing Spears? Can I ask why?

not many singing spears in the council, but a few can be a solid addition, in the super mech world we live in. Say 2 singing spears on warlocks and one on the farseer (who should be avoiding b2b as much as possible) gives you 3 s9 shots to toss at a transport. You pop that transport, you can charge the contents. This is good. If you have a large number of warlocks, you won't feel the loss of attacks as much.

No Bright lances on vypers. the Council can handle heavy vehicles, you smack it with enough s9 attacks, it'll go down. the emls are so the vipers can shoot tanks *in a pinch* but mainly shoot at infantry and keep up with the rest of the list. ballistic skill 3 is not a good platform for over priced lances. He has enough witchblades to deal with some mechanized elements.

Also, it might be a good idea to get singing spears onto the Guardian Jetbike Warlocks, this means they don't have to charge to get shots off, and can help you pop rhinos then use your assault move jump to get out of charge range. GJBs are rubbish in cc anyway, they should be avoiding it like the plague, more ranged anti tank would be good.

Then should he take Scatter Lasers? I just feel that if you're taking 3 independent squads, you should switch 1 of them to a different weapon so they all aren't going after the same pool of targets.

Thanks to everyone for your responces, generally positive wich is good.

i will add the spears to the squads and put a couple in the council, other than that what do people think about switching out 2x3 ELM/SC vipers for 2x2 ELM/SC Vipers and 2 Bright Lance Vipers?
