I know that if you declare a charge on a fleeing unit they immediatly Flee as a charge reaction and if caught are destroyed
my question is what happens if you declare a charge on a fleeing unit and hit another fleeing unit during the course of the charge. the unit doesn't flee because i didn't declare a charge, but i caught a fleeing unit.
What happens?

You're supposed to angle the charge so it avoids other units, friend and foe, if it's impossible then you get a failed charge.
Example time:
Units A and B are fleeing, an enemy unit E that is closer to A declares a charge on B, rolls to see if its cought are made and E makes it, however unit B's new position prevents E from getting base to base because A is in the way, charge is impossible therefore charge fails – proceed to resolve failed charge. This would even happen if A isn't fleeing as its morale situation has no bearing on the matter, only it's position.
Diagram 1 (original positions)
----A--B
E--------
Diagram 2 (after flee positions)
----------B
----A---

What if unit a and unit B are fleeing, and unit b is in front of unit a.
If your unit U charges unit b, unit b continues fleeing through unit a.
If your unit fails the test to redirect, it has to go after unit b,
if you roll enough to catch them what happens?
U declares charge
---a---
---b---
--------
---U---
b continues to flee
---b---
---a---
--------
--------
---U---
U rolls enough to catch unit b.

If you roll enough to catch b they are removed. Now you have to conduct your move as a enemy in the way and you'd essentially charge unit A which would get to flee as a charge response. If A doesn't roll high enough it'd be destroyed too.

This i can't agree with, page 23 ( BRB) is clear on the fact you must complete the charge to remove them.

Agree even less, you can't charge a unit you didn't declare a charge on. You can redirect at it if you wish but then you loose the chance to catch B.

Sorry, thats bresak tests only - for fleeing units you must actually be able to catch them in order to destroy them.
If you fail your test to redirect into the now revealed unit you cannot charge them. You stop 1" away.
