This is something that I have wondered about for awhile but I've never been able to find a cannon statement related to how it is handeled when a individual would leave the Jedi order during the days of the Old Republic. I know that they wern't killed and where stripped of their Jedi privilages and wern't provided any resources to help them in their new life but that's about it.

I only know of two Jedi who have quit the Jedi Order (these are just the only two I know of) and that's Count Dooku (spelling?) and Bardan Jusik, I know that Etain Tur-mukan was going to but died before she could. So does anyone have any sources where I can find information on how this was handeled? examples are those who resigned from the Order where allowed to keep their lightsabers, where they monitered by the Order in case they turned to the dark side, what careers where most common for those who resigned following their resignation etc. Also if anyone has referance or sources please only post it if it is considered official Star Wars cannon. Thank you

There is an Ex-Jedi in the 4 issue Darth Maul comic book series. At least I think he was, been awhile.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

You are looking for the "lost 20"

The best known of them was Dooku.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
