Hey guys,
Was wondering if someone could clear this up for me. I tried to find a previous thread about this but my searches came up with nothing so sorry if I'm repeating someone else on here
Was wondering what happens when a model has both the "Always Strikes First" rule as well as the "Always Strikes Last" rule. According to the
BRB "If a model has both this rule(Always Strikes Last) and Always Strikes First, the two cancel out and neither applies so use the model's Initiative."
Pg 66.
I think this is pretty self explanatory but I've had others say differently. Am I losing my mind here?
Automatically Appended Next Post: hmmmmm this WAS mainly going to be about High Elf Swordmasters but after going over the Army Book and
FAQ I've found my answer....
"Q. The Speed of Asuryan special rule states that “all High Elves
have the special rule Always Strike First, regardless of the weapon
they are wielding.” How does this interact with a great weapons
Always Strike Last? (p43)
A. The army book will take precedence in this situation. For
example, a Sword Master would strike first with his great
weapon. If his Initiative value is equal to or higher than his
opponent’s, he will also benefit from a re-roll to hit."
FAQ strikes again...
