Hi, just a little snippet I wrote a while back. I like Orks. I like to write - enough said...

The day started typically for Nakiwag the grot. He became crudely awakened from his nap when a, mercifully small(ish), spanner flew into his head, knocking him off of his make-shift perch, causing him to fall into the pile of scrap beneath, perceiving distant laughter as he did so. Again fortune stalked him as he realised through his bleeding face that he was within inches of being impaled upon a jutting metal stick thing. He quickly sprang to his feet and was glad he resisted the instinct to squeal, knowing his master would no doubt use him as further target practice, with a more sizeable tool from his kit, had he shown such weakness. He scampered as quickly as his slight frame would allow to where he believed the spanner chuck originated - somewhere beyond the nearest raised trukk.
'Oi Naki. Get over 'ere!' growled his master.
'Coming boss.' Nakiwag sprang nimbly up some barrels to where his master squatted by a series of enormous tool kits, his great hands flinging tools behind him as he sought one of them. Nakiwag's observations were acutely ended when he slipped upon a patch of oil and tumbled into one of the tool kits beside his master, making a reasonably loud clanging thunk as he did so.
'Hur, hur, hur. Ya know Naki' I woulda killed ya long ago if ya wasn't so zoggin' funny.' Lugnutz said without stopping his search.
'Thank you boss.' Nakiwag couldn't hide his uncertainty in his voice and wondered if his master had even looked at his fall or rather imagined it through the sounds. Either way, he paid it no heed, like most things in life. Nakiwag accepted his existence since...well, since he became aware of it.
Lugnutz stood to his full height, some seven feet tall, and emerged with two wrenches in either hand, one noticeably more sizeable than the other. He tossed them into the air and caught them repeatedly whilst staring at the raised trukk, his mind feverish with creative urges as he put together yet more ideas with what he had at his disposal.
He had been tasked by Boss Glashnik to make his personal camp trukk 'more killy lookin' and had since widened and extended the trukk to accommodate more features, and boyz, should the boss wish it. He also added lotz of spikes and a couple of big shoota positions on either side, and was particularly pleased with the side mounted frag launchers, and extra killy grill made out of one of the few remaining big beast skull trophies. He knew, however, that all this was 'standard' and twisted his mind to add that something extra, and with that he knew he'd be finished. But what? His mind snapped back to reality as he became aware of a lack of heavy metal in one of his hands, just in time to move his foot out of the way. The wrench hit the hardened earthen floor with a mighty klang, narrowly missing Naki' as it did so. The result was an epiphany, and he saw visions of such trukks becoming the 'standard' for the tribe, and he now knew exactly what to add.
'You called for me boss?'
'Uh?' Lugnutz had nearly forgotten the existence of Naki' as his mind formed an image of various trukk mounted explosive delivery systems.
'Boss?' Nakiwag knew his master needed another prompt when he became like this, and had recently felt comfortable doing so. If he did such a thing a few months earlier it would have meant a firm kick, clip or tool target.
'Yeah,' Lugnutz was finally with him 'I wants ya to deliver 'dis message to da boss. Tell 'im Mek Lugnutz will have 'is trukk ready by sun-fall. Tell 'im I says he should be dead pleased. Got it?' Lugnutz gave his full attention to Naki, who nodded enthusiastically.
'Yes boss. Right away boss.' And with that Nakiwag scampered speedily through the workshop, ducking and diving through the narrowest of gaps, his speed and dexterity belying his frail frame. Until, that is, he tripped on a cylinder cap and decapitated himself upon a piece of spiky sheet metal.
'Hur, hur, hur.' Lugnutz's laughter stopped suddenly as he realised the impact of Nakiwag's demise. He'd need a new assistant, 'Oh zoggin' hell.'
