]The title says it all folks. I know they aren't perfect, and I know the pictures aren't studio quality, but I was just wondering how they stack up since I can still remember how terrible my first 40k army looked. I know I'm not expert painter, so I'm not really expecting oooh's and ahhhs.

Also, feel free to vote on them in the gallery. ^^ (don't be a photo-lurker!)

I was really happy with how this model turned out, especially for the short amount of time it took me to paint him. However, I wish I was a better photographer so it would be easier to see the work I did on the intestine piping. But, if you view it in the gallery you can zoom in to get a better look

Here he is from the rear.... teehee

I was pretty happy with this guy, although I messed up when I was varnishing him and used a bit too much.

I was pleased with how his necrovents turned out, so I turned him over for a better view.

Same as the mechanithrall. It's kinda hard to see some of the details, like the shading I did on his chain mail.

Same guy, different angle.

This is the first one I painted. He looks okay, but I wish I had done some more highlighting.

Overall, I'm pleased with how this is coming out, and I think I'm improving with every model. Although, my hands still shake a lot while I'm trying to paint, which means that I usually end up taking a lot longer than most people to paint because I have to do a lot of cleaning up. So leave your questions, comments, and concerns down below! Or not...

Nice work, its hard to make out the thrall's detail in that light though.
For shaking hands make sure your hands are always touching each other in some way. I like to brace my arms against the edge of my table as well. just touching your model holding wrist to your brush holding wrist will add a great deal of stability.

Thanks for the advice on that. I'll keep that in mind.

And, yeah, it's been pretty tough to get the correct amount of lighting. It always seems like too much or too little.

I like the look of them, your paintwork is neat and tidy. With highlighting just have a go, you can always paint over it if you're not happy. Looking at your work though you should have no trouble doing it.

It's a nice colour scheme, quite tidy and clean. I like it. If you overdo the varnish a quick spray of matt varnish dulls it back down.

If I am not in my room, is it still my room?
