Ok, a freind of mine is just starting 40k and wants to play orks, he needs help with a list so i borrowed an ork codex and we set to work on some possibilities. Now, as you all know the ork codex is good for a laugh, so i started to skim through reading bits and laughing at the grots trying to lift heavy things when i came across Old Zogwart. Essentially with him you can turn an IC into a squig. That IC is replaced with a squig model, with approppriate stats, which is under your opponents control and is an IC in its own right. Now, do you get a KP for the original IC? Does replacing the IC count as killing it for the purposes of KP? After the IC is turned into a squig, if you kill that you definetly DO get a KP, it is and IC under their control which you have just killed afterall.

Tha IC isn't killed until you kill the squig model, since he replaces the enemy IC.

No KP until you kill the Squig.

I think this has been INAT FAQed as well (which you may not care about).
No KP until you kill the Squig regardless, because he "replaces" the IC with another IC - it doesn't kill it.

Nope, you need to kill the Squig because the IC hasn't been killed.
