I live in the Beaches, and with the downtown GW store gone, I no longer have anywhere easy access to purchase models or play games.
Looking for information on where to play/purchase GW stuff.

Young and Lawrence is uptown, not downtown. Too far north for me to reasonably get to. There used to be a GW in the Eatons Centre.

Semantics! I call just about all of Yonge St. downtown. It's easy enough to get to, being only a couple blocks from the Lawrence subway stop, but it is a crappy ride: about 20 minutes from the Eaton Centre.
Either way, the Yonge and Lawrence store replaced the Eaton Centre store, which was a pretty dumb move if you ask me. I was going to recommend Dueling Grounds or Crossed Swords but they're further west than I recalled, being over by Bloor/Dufferin and High Park area, respectively. Other than that, the best I've got is Scarborough Town Centre. Sorry!

True that....
I have 2 at leat in my city... but I do need a place to play, and someplace to buy stuff.
I dont drive, so it has to be transitable too. If I drove, STC for a game night wouldnt be that big of a deal. It's about a 20-25 minute drive from where I live, but prob about an hour via transit.

i think yonge and lawrence is your best bet bro. Mind you I go to a store in etobicoke( a little outta the way for you i know) but they sell all GW stuff for 20% off. If your ever feeling up to it look up heavy support games. it's on The queensway . great store, great prices and the owner is awsum.
