How would these rules work against each other? "Desert Tigers Claw" (or whatever its called) says that it inflicts instant death on the victim regardless of toughness and acts as a power weapon. Eternal warrior says it makes the character immune to "the instant death rule" which I'm assuming they mean the double strength armor penatrating "instant death rule".

Eternal warrior protects against "Instant death" special rule as well as double toughness strength weapons. So if the weapon has "Instant death" listed as a special ability, eternal warrior will negate the effect.

Just to point this out: you are somewhat redundant in your post, and slightly incorrect.

The Instant death rule itself only cares about S=2*T; this is why all weapons that inflict "instant Death" also have the caveat that the Toughness of the wounded model does not matter to those weapons.

Now I had said Slightly Incorrect do to the Syntax of your statement, the actual Statement itself is more or less correct.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
